Next week, from Wednesday, September 28th to Saturday, October 1st, the brightest young leaders aged 18–30 with a passion for global issues will head to Ottawa to debate, formulate and share innovative solutions for the pressing issues the world faces. They will join their peers from every country in the world and every sector, alongside global CEO's and world leaders such as Kofi Annan, Muhammad Yunus, Sir Bob Geldof and many more to share ideas and develop solutions to address urgent global issues.
At the One Young World Summit, which has been referred to as “Young Davos", delegates discuss global issues and develop solutions to meet the challenges of the 21st century. This is a global forum for young people who have the potential to become high-calibre leaders and it will be the first time that the annual Summit will take place on Canadian soil. No youth-led movement outside the summer Olympic Games represents as many nationalities as the One Young World Summit.
