Shequille Rollocks is the National Advocacy Representative for the 2019-2020 year. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Critical Disability Studies after completing a BA in Legal Studies, where she learned the fundamentals of community organizing and built upon her previous advocacy experience. During her degrees, Shequille was very active in her community; advocating for the rights of young black children who had been apprehended and were in the care of Children’s Aid Society. Shequille is currently in her second year of law school at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law. During her first year, she held positions with Pro Bono Students Canada Manitoba. Shequille is excited to see what legal adventures lie ahead.
