BLACK LAW STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION OF CANADA
NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the members of the Black Law Students’ Association Of Canada (“BLSA Canada”) will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 9:00 am (AST) for the following purposes:
To receive the financial statements for the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2022;
To elect directors for the 2023 - 2024 term;
To consent to the transaction of any other business as may properly come before the meeting in the continuance of the Corporation under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act.
The Annual General Meeting will be held during the 32nd Annual National Conference at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Attached is the elections package for the BLSA Canada National Executive, outlining the positions available for the 2023-2024 year. It will also be broadcasted over a virtual platform.

AVIS D'ASSEMBLÉE GÉNÉRALE ANNUELLE
AVIS EST DONNÉ PAR LA PRÉSENTE que l'assemblée générale annuelle des membres de l'Association des étudiant(e)s noir(e)s en droit du Canada (« AÉND Canada ») aura lieu le samedi 18 février 2023 à 9h00 (HNA) aux fins suivantes :
Recevoir les états financiers de l'exercice clos le 31 décembre 2022 ;
Élire les administrateurs pour le mandat 2023 - 2024;
Consentir à la transaction de toute autre affaire pouvant être dûment soumise à l'assemblée dans le cadre de la continuation de la société en vertu de la Loi canadienne sur les organisations à but non lucratif.
L'assemblée générale annuelle aura lieu pendant la 32ème conférence nationale annuelle à l'hôtel Halifax Marriott Harbourfront à Halifax, en Nouvelle-Écosse.
Vous trouverez ci-joint la trousse électorale pour l'exécutif national de l’AÉND Canada, décrivant les postes disponibles pour l'année 2023-2024.Il sera également diffusé sur la plateforme virtuelle.
